Effectively two topics in one, Paterology firstly explores the divine attributes of God revealed in the Bible, the names of God, and common arguments for the existence of God.
Secondly, this topic explores the New Testament teaching of God revealing Himself as "Father" - Christology looks at God the Son, Pneumatology looks at God the Holy Spirit, and Paterology looks at God the Father.
The first half of this unit reveals a great deal about God's holiness, power and knowledge, and provides an introduction into some of the technical arguments that can be used to prove the existence of God.
The second half of this unit takes the student on a journey to learn what it is to be a child of God, as revealed in the scriptures.
